Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Sheyla initially moved to Jacksonville in 2003 while serving in the US NAVY, and has called the place home ever since. She therefore recognizes the fears and needs of a family relocating to an area they are not familiar with as well as the demands of living the military life. Her fluency in English and Spanish as a Military Relocation Specialist positions her to serve a wider client base as she strives to make the homeownership journey seamless and stress-free for them. Sheyla is also a Certified Mentor at Florida Homes Realty & Mortgage where her past experience as a licensed mortgage broker favors clients and colleagues alike through informing and mentoring them to facilitate sound decisions. It is no wonder that she was accorded the Top Producer 2020 award having made over $6 Million in sales for her timely responsiveness, organization skills, and willingness to go the extra mile.

With a strong 20+ years background in Sales and Marketing that has a great impact on the outcome of her work, Sheyla possesses a wealth of knowledge that her clients benefit from. She is equally passionate about continued education in residential real estate sales and negotiations. As such, she has a Master’s Degree in Marketing, is a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), and is a Master Certified Negotiator Expert who excels in looking for the best offers available and negotiating for successful deals for her clients. Her understanding of the movements and trends of the local housing market further elevates her business as she endeavors to provide relatable solutions. Sheyla is also a skillful practitioner of state-of-the-art technology and tools.
